About Liberty Christian Academy

History

Liberty Christian Academy was founded in 1991 by Pastor R. Lee O'Hair and the congregation of Liberty Temple. Through the direction of the Holy Spirit, the church saw the need for Christian discipleship in the youth. L.C.A. was established to provide a Christ-centered, individualized education to the youth in our community.

In prayerful preparation, the church leaders and staff of Liberty Temple Ministries labored to make an academically sound and spiritually vibrant education available. For over 25 years, L.C.A. has continually made great efforts to provide an exceptional educational atmosphere that nurtures and promotes Godly character.

Through the years, L.C.A. has had the privilege of seeing numerous students surrender their lives to the Lord. Many are now serving as leaders and teachers in their home churches. Furthermore, graduates of L.C.A. have gone on to such endeavors as seminary school, Bible college, pharmacy college, law school, nursing school, technical colleges, the military, and more.

Learning Center Staff

L.C.A. has a trained and highly qualified staff. For this school to be a truly Christian facility, every staff member and volunteer must surrender his life completely to God’s authority. The Staff of LCA are all volunteers. Therefore, no staff member receives a salary for the many hours spent in the education of children. This is evidence of the love and devotion that the staff members show toward all children.

Church Affiliation

Liberty Christian Academy is an educational outreach of Liberty Temple Ministries. Students and parents are welcome and encouraged to attend services at Liberty Temple. While, church attendance is not required for enrollment, students are regularly encouraged to attend a Bible-believing church, and volunteer service in the student’s home church is required to obtain some privileges.
